A’pieu Air Fit Cushion Review

If you’re in a hurry but you still want to have a nice-looking skin, or you’re just too damn lazy to even put makeup on, using a cushion is the best easy ans convenient easy way to achieve that dewy look.

In this post, I’m going to be talking about one of the most affordable bb cushions in the market. It is A’pieu’s Air Fit cushion.

Packaging: It comes in a light plastic cushion case like all the other bb cushions. It’s kind of fat but then again it is nice because instead of buying the whole cushion again, you could just buy the refill. Save the earth, guys.

Scent: There is light pleasant smell which I don’t know how to describe so I asked my sister. She said it smells like makeup which couldn’t be any more vague.

Available atTesterkorea for just 5800won

There are only two shades available in this cushion. No. 21 which is light and No.23 which is still one shade lighter than my skin tone in the summer. Of course the one I took is no.23.

Here is the shade 23.

Blended out.

Since I was darker in the summer, there was such an obvious contrast between my neck and face. The case in winter is different. My skin tone has finally lightened and almost matches the shade. Here are some before and after pictures after putting on the cushion. Forgive me for the poor quality shots. I’m saving up so that I could buy a decent camera for exclusive blogging use.

How to use: Use puff. Dab into sponge. Slap face several times. The harder you slap. the better the product can soak up into your skin.

First up, I will be testing out to see how it covers blemishes such as acne scars or pimples or redness on my face.

Before putting on bb cushion. Here is a shot of my period acne. I hope I don’t traumatize you.

After shot. Thankfully looking a little more even.

And now for the full face.

Performance:  Sure, it’s affordable but does it work well? This is the question that we should ask ourselves when we buy cheap  makeup.Korean cosmetics and skincare all aim at helping you to whiten and brighten your face. This product is no exception. Since we Asians love having a fair skinned look, I was very pleased with the natural brightened dewy look this product gave me. It evened out my skin tone and didn’t feel sticky on my face at all. However, I was sad that this didn’t help cover the acne marks that I have. It also lasted pretty long. I was wearing this for about 5 hours and it still looked good, however, my t-zone was getting shiny by the 3rd hour and was really shiny by the 5th. Although I was bothered about this, I just used blotting paper to blot the oil.

Recommend?: For the price? YES!

Pros:

Long-lasting

Whitens/Brightens

Smells nice

Not sticky

AFFORDABLE (HELL YEAH)

SPF 50+/PA+++ (yay)

Cons:

Doesn’t help cover up blemishes

Limited shades available

Slight creases under the eyes

Best for: Normal to Dry Skin. Very oily skinned people, stay away from this! Combination skin can probably work with this with the help of blotting papers or powder.

Rating: 4/5

I was quite happy with my purchase as I only bought this for just HKD65 online. It’s definitely a bargain! If you want to try a bb cushion but don’t want to end up investing that much money, definitely check this out! What’s your favorite bb cushion? Let me know! Hope you enjoyed this review~

Lots of love,

Li Ann
